It was pretty ugly...

...the Packers game, that is. They killed themselves with penalties. They can't expect to win a game with 14 penalties for 100 yards. Hello! Anyway. At least Minnesota and Chicago lost, too.

I can't let the Packer game ruin an otherwise cool weekend. Yesterday, Ross and I, and Shannon and Jeremy, headed up to REI. What a cool store. It was a little depressing however, because we just wanted to buy a bunch of stuff that we can't afford. Oh well, someday! After that, we headed to Greendale. I showed Shannon and Jeremy where I worked and then we decided to head to downtown Greendale. What a good call that was. I had always been meaning to take some time to walk around down there, and visit all of the cute shops, and I finally got a chance. We stopped at Ferch's Malt Shoppe and all had a tasty treat. We then took a walk around the park and just hung out. It was cool.

After we got home, Ross and I suprisingly got a second wind. We've been meaning to get some window treatments for a while now, so that's what we did. We were in desperate need for new blinds in our room. We also got drapes for the living room. The most impressive thing about it is that we even put everything up when we got home. Needless to say, we were a bit tired by the end of it all. Packers loss aside, it was a cool weekend.
